CEO, Daniel De Bono is an experienced aviation professional, having held several leadership positions across Wellington, Queenstown & Wanaka airports. Originally joining the Dunedin Airport team in 2015, after some time away Daniel re-joined the team in 2021, coming from the Southern District Health Board where he led the Oncology Services for Otago & Southland. Originally from Dunedin, Daniel is a trained pilot and a graduate of Massey University having completed a Bachelor of Aviation Management in 2005.
GM Business Development, Megan Crawford, joined Dunedin Airport in 2013. Megan returned to Dunedin in 2007 after living in London where she had been Marketing Manager for GE Consumer Finance UK. Prior to joining Dunedin Airport she was Manager of Executive Education at the University of Otago. Megan is a graduate of the University of Otago, completing a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts.
GM Commercial, Chris Cope, is a qualified chartered accountant and graduate of Otago University having obtained a Bachelor of Commerce and Diploma for Graduates.
Originally from Dunedin Chris joined the Dunedin International Airport Limited in 2016. With a strong financial accounting background, Chris has previously held roles as an Associate Director in the Deloitte Assurance team, and, during six years in the United Kingdom, as Group Financial and Management Accountant for a large international law firm based out of London.
Nicholas (Nick) Rodger is a civil engineer with over 20 years experience in transportation and horizontal engineering. Born and bred in Dunedin, Nick has worked in industry, and local/central government agencies around NZ, including time managing the State Highway networks in Coastal and Central Otago, as well as Southland. He studied at the University of Otago, and Otago Polytechnic, completing a BSc (Land Planning and Development), BEngTech(civil), and DipEng(civil) respectively.
Most recently Nick held a national role within Downer, where he oversaw and coordinated maintenance delivery across a range of contracts and clients. A particular focus has been the integration of asset management principles into operations, and the adoption of continuous improvement principles.
