CEO, Richard Roberts, is originally from Barnsley in Yorkshire, England. After achieving a First Class Honours Degree in Engineering with Business Studies at Sheffield Hallam University, he then went on to work as a Project Engineer in many varied engineering projects around the UK. Richard moved to New Zealand in 1996 where he spent his first 3 years working in project management, the most notable project being the Meridian Mall Development in Dunedin and the redevelopment of the Hanmer Springs Thermal Reserve. Richard came to the Airport as General Manager of Infrastructure and Service Delivery before being appointed as CEO in April 2015.
GM Business Development, Megan Crawford, joined Dunedin Airport in 2013. Megan returned to Dunedin in 2007 after living in London where she had been Marketing Manager for GE Consumer Finance UK. Prior to joining Dunedin Airport she was Manager of Executive Education at the University of Otago. Megan is a graduate of the University of Otago, completing a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts.
GM Infrastructure & Service Delivery, Stu Casey joined the Dunedin Airport team in 2004 in the Airside Emergency Services team. After nine years of service, he moved into the position of Operations Manager, before being appointed his current role in November 2017. Stu is born and bred in Outram, and continues to support his local Fire Service crew, the Outram Volunteer Fire Brigade, to which he has been a part of for over 20 years.
GM Commercial, Chris Cope, is a qualified chartered accountant and graduate of Otago University having obtained a bachelor of Commerce and Diploma for Graduates.
Originally from Dunedin Chris joined the Dunedin International Airport Limited in 2016. With a strong financial accounting background, Chris has previously held roles as an Associate Director in the Deloitte Assurance team, and, during six years in the United Kingdom, as Group Financial and Management Accountant for a large international law firm based out of London.
